![]() The second coat evened out it a fair bit, but it was the topcoat that fixed all the un-even spots. Perhaps because of the amount of white that is in them? Anyways. For some reason, pastels are always more of a beyotch to apply than any other colour. The first coat was streaky and watery, which I expected for a baby pink. The application of this polish was decent. It’s not as milky of a pink as MAY, which to me is a bonus. Compared to Mod About You, PF is brighter, darker, and less chalky. I would put this polish in the same categories as Sparrow Me The Drama and another popular baby pink from OPI, Mod About You, but it is completely unique. It’s a light cool-toned pink that looks like something a preppy high school girl would wear. But for another more important thing, the colour isn’t an obnoxious bubble gum pink like I found Sparrow Me The Drama to be. For one thing, they didn’t have to alter the song name to fit the colour and they didn’t just name the colour after any old song by Nicki Minaj. I still hold that true, but this polish is an exception. When I was reviewing the bright half of the Pirates collection, I said that bubble gum pinks were not my thing. (1 coat OPI Nail Envy, 1 coat Butter LONDON Nail Foundation, 2 coats Pink Friday, 1 coat Seche Vite) After the jump, you will find more pictures of the beautiful bubble gum pink that is Pink Friday and a full review! ![]() Hey everyone! I am back again with my spring favourite swatches, and today I am swatching and reviewing another Nicki Minaj polish! Like Fly, Pink Friday was a part of the Nicki Minaj spring six set of 2012.
